Remember back at the start of the year when I told y'all about Vivi's computer game (aka. that time I figured out a way to have a few minutes of night cheesing while Vivi is still awake)? Well, Vivi still loves her computer, but I'm also looking for ways to entertain her this summer that are educational but don't necessarily require a computer screen. That's where LeapFrog comes in!
Here's what LeapFrog says about their camp:
LeapFrog Summer Camp, from June 4-July 29, is designed to keep the learning going all summer long through exciting weekly themes and free, do-anywhere learning activities that explore geography, writing, science, art and more.
Cool, huh? I'm all about camp, so I'm nerdily excited about it. First of all, it's free! And not just for me, for you too. Secondly, I checked out the printable for the first week of camp, which is focused on "Out & About" and involves making a chart of different modes of transportation. Vivi will love that she gets to color, and I think it'll be neat to teach her about charts. Nerdy, I know. What can I say? I'm a nerd!
I'll be sure to check back in with you about how it's going once we start the activities. Whattaya think? You in?
